Advertising Terms & Conditions:

These T&Cs shall apply for the insertion of advertisements into the publication “Gaylife Magazine, Manchester.”

1.By placing the order, the advertiser warrants that the content of their advertisement is legal, truthful and decent and complies with the British Code of Advertising, and contains nothing detrimental or defamatory about third parties and does not infringe third party rights (of whatever nature) in any way.

2.The Publisher reserves the right to refuse any copy which they feel may not be appropriate material for print.

3.Advertisers will be sent a proof of artwork prior to insertion in the publication, unless designed, prepared and designed by themselves or a third party. Any errors or omissions in the copy should be notified back to the Publisher within 48 hours of receipt unless otherwise advised. Failure to notify changes to proof will be deemed as acceptable artwork to the Advertiser and therefore full payment will be chargeable. In the event of any error, the Publisher will, at the Publishers’ discretion may re-insert the advert or make a reasonable refund or adjustment to the cost of the advert. Artwork prepared by the Publisher, remains the property of the Publisher and reproduction in any form is expressly forbidden without prior permission from the Publisher.

4.Any cancellation of advertisements must be given in writing to the Publisher 3 days prior to the print deadline, being the start of each month. After which the Publisher reserves the right to charge part/whole payment for advertisement.

5.Where the Advertiser is a limited company, the director authorising the booking, or authorized employed staff on the directors behalf of the company shall personally guarantee any sums owing under the Advertiser’s order and shall keep the Publisher indemnified for any amount unpaid and due according to the terms of this contract.

6.By advertising in this publication you agree to the above terms and conditions.

7.When you submit information to Publisher, by any method, a record is kept of your contact details and booking information to help in administering current and any future advertisements. By submitting information you are consenting to these records being kept, in compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

8.When purchasing online advertising space we take payment straight away via our online service if done by invoice this is required the same day it is received (usually same day as requested). will receive an e-mail to confirm the dates “Start” and “Finish” e.g. 28/06/2021 – 26/07/2021 this show when the advert will be active on the website.

9.Failure to pay may result in the advert being removed and/or interrupted while the payment is pending. Publisher reserves the right to charge part/whole payment for the advertisement. We do allow a grace period if notified depending on circumstance and reasonable cause but this MUST be communicated to us prior to purchase or immediately.

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days (does not include gift vouchers, downloads, subscription or sponsorship items). If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@gaylifemagazine.co.uk.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should contact us via sales@gaylifemagazine.co.uk.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
